Interested in marketing, communications, advertising, or public relations? Loyola’s office of marketing and communication is responsible for managing and executing the brand of Loyola University Maryland, which includes: advertising, design and creative execution, media planning, internal communications, public and media relations, crisis communications, strategic communications, and Web design and marketing.

Interns will get hands-on experience and learn about the many aspects of marketing and communications.

The marketing intern assists with a variety of projects relating to the Loyola’s marketing goals and initiatives. This person will work on the development of the creative content for the university’s online publishing platforms, which include blogs, videos, news, events, and more. He/she will also compose messages about upcoming events, create articles for Loyola magazine, write news releases, and work on marketing and advertising campaigns ranging from print, electronic, and broadcast. The marketing intern will also help maintain Loyola’s groups on social networking sites.

This is a great opportunity for students who want to go into marketing, advertising, event planning, public relations, or related fields. Loyola’s marketing internship will allow the student to develop valuable skills and build his or her portfolio.

This office of marketing and communications is located in Loyola’s Graduate Center in Timonium. Transportation will be required.
