You won’t be fetching anyone coffee during this internship. If you want a once in a lifetime hands-on experience planning events and marketing for sports teams keep reading. STX, a global sporting goods leader in lacrosse, field hockey and golf, is looking for the Ultimate Intern! This internship is about giving you real sports marketing experience and exposure. You’ll get an inside look into a leading sporting goods company, that will include attending photo shoots, sales meetings and sporting events. To apply you don’t have to be a lacrosse player, but you must have a love for the game and sports. STX is a classic brand that has been around since 1970. Our motto is ‘Never Stop’. We never stop innovating and we’re looking for someone who exhibits that same passion and insatiable curiosity. To be considered, you must be a Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or related major. Applicants must also be able to work a minimum of 12 hours per week. To apply, submit a blog post or 1 minute cover letter video explaining why you want to work at STX at STXtremeInternship@stx.com along with your resume. We want to see your personality, so get creative and make sure you include why you are the best fit for the STX brand. Once you’ve submitted your application, be sure to introduce yourself to STX on Twitter @TizzleSTX and STX’s Facebook Page. Bonus points for those with the courage to post their application videos to STX’s social media as well! The top 3 finalists will be chosen to compete in the Ultimate Showdown November 5 in Baltimore. So save this date on your calendar!
