TheCelebrityCafe.com offers a 12-week internship requiring a minimum of 15 hours a week, that will enable students to become knowledgeable in an array of online communication and how to combine online marketing with overarching outreach goals in a professional setting.
Academic credit is REQUIRED. Interns must be able to assist in formulating social media plans (once ample information is provided to you), and then carry them out (with our assistance). You must be able to measure and document the impact of social media, and then suggest action-steps to increase impact.
Interns will be performing the following tasks:
-Updating and commenting on personal and professional profiles and pages (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, StumbleUpon, Reddit, etc.)
-Uploading videos, photo albums, etc.
-Finding users to follow/friend/like our business
-Writing and posting blog posts/tweets/updates, etc.
-Tracking the growth and the impact of social media on our business
-Replying to comments, messages, etc.
-Report findings to the team
-Consistently learn and grow, ask pertinent questions
Skills and attributes interns are expected to have:
-Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
-A superb social media presence and/or have had other experience managing social media
-Ability to be proactive and have creative ideas for how to connect with our existing users + bring in new ones
-Energy, with a desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to grow our online presence
-Experience proofreading and editing
-Highly organized with tremendous follow-through abilities to make things happen from start to finish
-Ability to contribute individually, and in a team
