JOURNALISM PROGRAM. Must be completed in order to obtain curricular benefits.
Attendance at two (2) Editorial Meetings with Mentor.
Attendance at four (4) Group Mentoring Sessions.
Take part in two (2) Personalized Global Feedbacks. The Global Personalized Feedbacks will be held verbally during the Group Mentoring Sessions, and will be about two of the articles submitted by the student. In addition to the Global Personalized Feedbacks, each student will receive from the Mentor, four (4) Personalized Written Feedbacks, on all four (4) of the articles submitted by the student.
Participate in four (4) Journalism Workshops with Mentor:
Workshop: “Journalism in the 21st Century: Writing for the Web” (“El periodismo del siglo XXI: Cómo escribir para la web”).
Workshop: “Social Media for Journalists & How to Gain Prestige” (“Redes sociales para periodistas y aumento de prestigio”).
Workshop: “Beyond Twitter: Cool Tools for Journalists” (“Más allá de Twitter: Herramientas útiles para periodistas”).
Workshop: “Marketing Your Writing: CVs for Journalists” (“Marketing para tus escritos: tu CV como periodista”).
Choose one Area of Specialization. Students choose to specialize either in one Channel or the DECAS:

Complete all deadlines and tasks specified in the Editorial Calendar. Each student will pitch ideas for the Editorial Calendar, which may be integrated along with the required topics assigned by ROOSTERGNN. The content can be created in English or Spanish, or in Italian in case of the Italy Special.
Submit four (4) articles. The exact deadlines will be specified in the Editorial Calendar. These articles will be the subject of the Personalized Global Feedbacks (2) and the Personalized Written Feedbacks (4), as detailed in the Program. Once the Feedback has been received, students can publish their articles in the global news agency.
Journalistic Use of Social Media. Students will share links to their articles on social media, in order to increase the audience of their publications. Throughout the Seminar, students will take photographs, of which ROOSTERGNN will select the best to publish on the agency’s social media channels.
