The Tampa Sports Authority (TSA) is an agency that manages Raymond James Stadium and three municipal golf courses in Tampa, FL. Raymond James Stadium is the home of the 2009 Super Bowl, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the University South Florida Bulls football.
The TSA marketing, media and community relations department is seeking a one year assistant and hopes that you can assist in the search. TSA requests interested candidates be graduating seniors or graduate students with a minimum 3.0 grade point average in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or any related business classes. The internship/assistantship is a one year program which requires an average commitment of five days a week, eight hours a day. Some weekends and evenings will be required for event management duties.
The one year intern will be paid approximately $1,200 per month plus $130.00 for each event worked. We have as few as one event and as many as five events per month. Please be advised that we are considered an entertainment venue and as such, must reserve many weekends and/or evenings for our events. In addition, we feel the experience and contacts that will be made while at the Tampa Sports Authority offers a great opportunity for someone entering the workforce.
Additionally, we have a summer internship that is not paid but receives $130.00 for each event worked. The summer internship is available beginning May/June, ending in August/September.
