Communications interns will produce a well-rounded portfolio of bylined writing and video interns will receive a Flip video camera to use while creating original videos about college life. All interns will learn valuable SEO and other marketing techniques crucial in today\u2019s new media industry.<\/p>\n<p>Communications responsibilities will include weekly assignments through which representatives will be:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Writing short, bylined articles and descriptions about your campus and college life to be featured on Unigo.com; taking photos to accompany articles as the opportunity arises.<br \/>\u00b7         Promoting Unigo on campus and online though various marketing, networking, and social media initiatives. Unigo is a growing company and as such is always looking to increase traffic and build our content collection.<\/p>\n<p>Film internship responsibilities will include weekly assignments through which representatives will be:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Creating video content to be featured on Unigo, showcasing the unique qualities and quirks of your campus including tours and interviews.<br \/>\u00b7         Documenting the interesting, funny, and absurd aspects of college life<br \/>\u00b7         Pitching and creating original videos with viral potential<br \/>\u00b7         Video editing experience is a plus, but not mandatory. We are looking for students who are very creative and willing to learn.<\/p>\n<p>The internship requires between four and six hours a week and is perfect for students looking to gain experience without taking on a more time-intensive responsibility. Interns will work closely with their editor and receive feedback on a weekly basis. Interns will finish the program with a good amount of writing and\/or video clips and are free to pitch other content ideas to gain additional clips and recognition. The internship is unpaid, however we can work with you to obtain course credit.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<br \/>The right candidate for this position is someone who has in-depth knowledge of their college and enjoys interacting with online media. Students who are creative, outgoing, and can work independently will thrive in this internship. Current students from all class years and majors are encouraged to apply.
