The position supports the communications efforts for the Alumni, Development and Marketing departments at Ashley (a non-profit drug and alcohol treatment center in Havre de Grace)\u2014see web site www.fathermartinsashley.org<\/p>\n
Duties would include updating newly created web site, optimizing our search engine positioning, drafting copy for outbound email communiqu\u00e9s to professional counselors, former patients and donors, updating our department database, helping with direct mailings, interfacing with printers, design and pr agencies, helping prepare for trade shows and sending materials for media placements (radio, print and online)<\/p>\n
I would be the supervisor. I\u2019ve had 25 years in the marketing communications, ad agency management and now non-profit world. The goal would be to teach the intern the necessary skills to be a productive marketing communications generalist whether at an ad agency or as an in-house communications specialist.<\/p>\n
We are located on a 145 acre campus on the banks of the Chesapeake bay. A free gourmet lunch in our lovely dining room is included each day (breakfast and dinner, too if they show up early enough or need to stay late for a project)<\/p>\n
We are flexible about the work hours so long as they are consistent and between the hours of 8:30a and 5:30p.<\/p>\n
