Responsibilities:
\u2022 Research and develop new internet marketing opportunities for Book Divas
\u2022 Interact with members
\u2022 Recruit members through viral marketing techniques
\u2022 Moderate Book Divas message board
\u2022 Assist our team with upcoming contest and new promotion
\u2022 Assist our team in developing partnership\/ sponsorship opportunities<\/p>\n
Contact blogs and other media outlets for publicity opportunities
\u2022 Produce Book Divas editorial material, press release
\u2022 Review new books
\u2022 Maintain Book Divas e-commerce site
Requirements:
\u2022 BA or current college student
\u2022 Organized, responsible, self-starter with creativity and attention to detail.
\u2022 Interest in the literature world
\u2022 Must be a team-player
\u2022 Good computer skills, including Powerpoint, Excel, Access
\u2022 The ideal candidate will be smart, organized, responsible, versatile, and comfortable in a fairly fluid role
\u2022 Able to commit 15 to 20 hours a week throughout the Fall 2008 semester. <\/p>\n
Not required, but a plus:
Experience in literature, book publishing industry, internet marketing
Basic HTML, experience with Joomla
Design experience<\/p>\n
