Public Relations and Social Media Internship Interested in public relations, social media, marketing, and communications? Loyola’s office of marketing and communications is looking for an intern to help spread the Loyola story. Interns will learn about new media and PR strategies and get hands-on experience with public relations, media relations, and social media. You\u2019ll have an opportunity to gain concrete experience and grow your professional portfolio in PR, media relations, social media, and publicity. Requested qualifications: \u2022 College sophomore, junior, or senior \u2022 Outstanding verbal and written communication skills \u2022 Ability to identify, cultivate, and craft news stories and media materials \u2022 Previous Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other social media experience required \u2022 Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of computer applications \u2022 Understanding of AP style and newswriting \u2022 Previous newsroom\/media (journalism) experience and exposure a plus \u2022 High standard of ethics, excellence and integrity \u2022 Access to a mobile device that can connect to wi-fi and take photos\/video (e.g., iPhone, iPod Touch, Droid, etc.) The internship will take place on the Evergreen campus. College credit is offered for eligible students.
