What Weekly is looking for a qualified intern to join our team. We are a small and hard working group that produces our digital magazine. We are looking for someone who is engaged and motivated. Since we are a small team, the roles and responsibilities range but will allow you to explore many aspects of running a media property. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in marketing, editorial, social media and administration. <\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Assist with entering event and editorial onto the site
\nAssist with social media posts and scheduling posts ahead of time
\nAssist with fulfillment of advertising offers
\nAssist with execution of events
\nAssist with the preparation of sales and marketing materials
\nPerform analysis of marketing and sales data
\nSeek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
\nHelp with internal design for promotions and social media
\nDevelop contact lists for sales leads and cross content partners
\nMaintain tracking report of public relations activity<\/p>\n
Requirements
\nCompany is looking for an undergraduate student in the Baltimore area who is majoring in Sales, Marketing or Advertising. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web and social media. PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.<\/p>\n
