Each editor oversees a team of staff writers. Editors determine their section\u2019s monthly theme, article concepts, tone and multimedia involved. After articles are assigned, the editor works with his\/her staff writers to discuss the angle of the story, make edits\/comments for improvement and publish a final well-researched, creative and purposeful article. In addition to editing the staff writers\u2019 articles, editors release college-related breaking news within their section. The position is ten hours per week and editors may receive course credit. Candidates must currently be pursing a degree in English, Journalism or Communication and have previous experience editing for a college-level publication.
