Flexible.<\/p>\n<p>Prerequisites: Student currently enrolled in a baccalaureate or graduate level program in marketing, communications, business, hospitality management or other related field.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct research, make site visits (with Chamber staff), and find resources to help staff make decisions about event possibilities<\/li>\n<li>Assist in identifying event opportunities and generating interest<\/li>\n<li>Works closely with other staff members in promoting Chamber events to target audiences<\/li>\n<li>Assists in preparing a variety of publications, materials, and programs for events<\/li>\n<li>Assists in maintaining the Chamber website ensuring that event and program updates are made on a timely basis<\/li>\n<li>Attends signature events<\/li>\n<li>Assists on the \u201cday of\u201d in set-up, preparation, hosting registration table and troubleshooting<\/li>\n<li>May be asked to assist with social media, pre-and post-event coverage<\/li>\n<li>Assist with event registration<\/li>\n<li>Aid in database management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Skills Required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organization skills and experience with project management<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteers<\/li>\n<li>Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position: Communications &amp; Marketing Intern<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation: Paid<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Position Dates: \u00a0January \u2013 May 2017. Flexible.<\/p>\n<p>Prerequisites: Student currently enrolled in a baccalaureate or graduate level program in marketing, communications, business, or other related field.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with daily operations within the office<\/li>\n<li>Aid in creating and executing social media based marketing plans for growing member awareness of benefit programs<\/li>\n<li>Creating social media posts with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the writing and design of website<\/li>\n<li>Providing support at Chamber events<\/li>\n<li>Aid in database management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Skills Required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be creative and confident, willing to pitch ideas for new marketing tools and strategies<\/li>\n<li>Have excellent writing, editing and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience in infographics software<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position: Legislative Intern<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Compensation: Paid<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Position Dates: January \u2013 May, 2017.
