Marketing Intern
\nBaltimore-based nonprofit, Vehicles for Change has an opening for a Marketing Intern. This person will assist the Marketing Strategist with events and communications, while also working on administrative tasks, as needed.
\nJob Responsibilities
\n\u2022 Assist in planning VFC events
\n\u2022 Represent VFC at marketing events
\n\u2022 Assist Marketing Strategist with social media plan (collaborate on monthly social media editorial calendar, manage daily postings, create content)
\n\u2022 Assist with SEO through writing blog posts; assist in maintenance of VFC\u2019s website
\nQualities:
\n\u2022 Strong writer
\n\u2022 Creative
\n\u2022 Takes initiative
\n\u2022 Energetic
\n\u2022 Ability to multitask
\nQualifications:
\n\u2022 Must be computer expert (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, internet research etc.)
\n\u2022 Have a firm understanding of available tools and platforms in the social media space
\n\u2022 Effective communicator, both written and oral
\n\u2022 Ability to communicate in a professional manner with sponsors, customers and community contacts
\n\u2022 Self-motivated, good organization skills, detailed-oriented, ability to prioritize, and multi-task and
\n\u2022 Enthusiasm for the mission of Vehicles for Change and the families or interns we serve
\nStart Date: Position open until filled, requires 3-6 month commitment (EXAMPLE)
\nSalary Requirements\/Hours Worked: +
\n\u2022 Paid internship; 12- 20 hours a week
\n\u2022 Ability to work extra hours as needed
\n\u2022 Additional hours could be compensated as college credit (Upon approval of University\/College)
