Lorem Impact\u2019s 10-week, full-time, paid apprenticeship was designed for students of communications, design, and web development who want to create work that matters for clients that matter. You\u2019ll work with the leadership team and senior members at idfive to concept, create, and deliver a comprehensive creative campaign, project, or product for a nonprofit partner.<\/div>\n

  • Apprenticeship Slots: 2<\/li>\n
  • Term: June 3 to August 9, 2019<\/li>\n
  • Stipend: $5,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    THE GOALS<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    <\/div>\n
    After completing Lorem Impact, you\u2019ll emerge with:<\/div>\n

    • A firm grasp of how every department within an integrated creative agency operates and how projects move through various departments<\/li>\n
    • A sophisticated understanding of how to advocate for a cause\u2014and how design can effect change<\/li>\n
    • An understanding of the creative, advertising, and marketing industry, along with the trends that affect our agency and clients<\/li>\n
    • The ability to present your ideas clearly to audiences<\/li>\n
    • The confidence to participate in a collaborative environment<\/li>\n
    • A collection of portfolio material you\u2019re proud of<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      THE WORK<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      As part of the apprenticeship, you\u2019ll participate in:<\/div>\n

      • Discipline shadowing<\/li>\n
      • Client and internal meetings<\/li>\n
      • Brainstorming and Workshops<\/li>\n
      • Research<\/li>\n
      • Strategy Development<\/li>\n
      • Design and Writing<\/li>\n
      • Web development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        Additionally, you\u2019ll chronicle your experience through blogging, livestreaming, and social takeovers.<\/div>\n

        ACADEMIC PREREQUISITES<\/strong><\/h3>\n
        To be eligible for the Lorem Impact Social Design Apprenticeship, you must have completed courses in following areas:<\/div>\n

        • Graphic Design<\/li>\n
        • Web Design<\/li>\n
        • Interface Design<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          Additionally, you must have completed courses in at least two of the following areas:<\/div>\n

          • Design Thinking<\/li>\n
          • Design for User Experience<\/li>\n
          • Branding<\/li>\n
          • Copywriting<\/li>\n
          • Front End Development<\/li>\n
