This position is responsible for assisting with a wide variety of divisional pediatric fund-raising programs at the Johns Hopkins Children\u2019s Center Development Office. The Children\u2019s Center is continually recognized as one of the leading pediatric hospitals in the country. This internship will provide a student the opportunity to work within a dynamic fund-raising program for a nationally recognized, premier children\u2019s hospital. This person will primarily assist with the planning, organizing and executing personalized communications that may include mailings, phone calls, and donor\/prospect research. <\/p>\n
Duties include, but are not limited to:
– assisting with written and oral communication to individual, foundation and corporate donors to the Children\u2019s Center;
– devising creative marketing & fund-raising solicitations;
– attend various donor events based on availability;
– creating, maintaining, and merging donor data base;
-execution of mailings;
– performing various other administrative duties upon request.<\/p>\n
This candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, computer and internet skills, the ability to demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.<\/p>\n
Internships are available during the fall, spring, intercession and summer semesters. This is non-paid internship. We will work with school departments to provide credit, if applicable to major study.<\/p>\n
