Assistant to Webmaster in Corporate Environment<\/p>\n
The Medical Mutual Liability Insurance Society of Maryland is offering a paid, full-time summer position in our Hunt Valley office. This person will assist our Communications Department with maintenance of our three Internet\/Intranet sites and production of Flash, podcast, PowerPoint and other multimedia presentations. Applicant should be self starter, organized and detail oriented. Prefer juniors or sophomores majoring in web design\/development, digital media, or related. The person should have solid technical skills and a creative flair with the ability to manage multiple priorities within expected timelines. <\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\u2022 Adding web content to existing web pages
\u2022 Creating new web pages
\u2022 Production of web site animations\/video editing
\u2022 Design graphic elements and edit photos for the web sites
\u2022 Assist with development of new web site
\u2022 Assist with department research into social media and mobile web initiatives
\u2022 Provide general technological software support<\/p>\n
Required Technical Skills<\/p>\n
\u2022 Thorough understanding of leading site development tools
\u2022 Strong web design layout and production skills with a working knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
\u2022 Experience with Adobe Flash design and development
\u2022 Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
\u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
\u2022 Knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies, including social networking, blogs, and RSS<\/p>\n
