TheCelebrityCafe.com was founded in 1995 as an entertainment magazine in a college dorm room. Nineteen years later, we are a top-ranked site for news and have 8.5 million unique monthly viewers. This internship will allow interns to work with the founder of the company as well as the managing editor in day-to-day tasks that drive the company.

This internship is a telecommuting position and can be done virtually anywhere there is an internet connection.

Interns will be performing the following tasks:
-Provide administrative support in day-to-day operations to editors
-Data collection and analysis of social media fluency, SEO strength in headlines and stories, and site bounce rate
-Create and update text-based spreadsheets and instructional site in support of assigned projects
-Participate in Performance Management in areas of writing and social media

Preferred Skills/Interests:
– Ability to work independently, but a strong effective team player; commitment to delivering results; solutions oriented; good organizational skills and ability to multi-task
– Solid written and verbal communication skills
– Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
– Attention to detail, self-sufficiency, and an entrepreneurial attitude
– Knowledge of Google Docs and high level of spreadsheet proficiency
– Demonstrated capability maintaining strict confidentiality with employee information
